You can now experience the treasures of the Forbidden City right here at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, one of Hong Kong’s newest cultural landmarks. It is home to over 900 precious artifacts from the Palace Museum in Beijing, including many on public display for the first time.
Located at the western side of the West Kowloon Cultural District, the Hong Kong Palace Museum offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as M+ Museum, Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Art Park, and the waterfront promenade.

Tai Kwun is a cultural landmark in Central District, transformed from several historic buildings, including the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy, and Victoria Prison. Cattle Depot Artist Village is an art community transformed from a slaughterhouse. Now, it’s open for artists to set up their studios and frequently holds various kinds of art exhibitions and workshops.
Next to the artist village is the Cattle Depot Art Park, which features installations such as feeding troughs, water basins, and iron rings used to tether cattle, allowing visitors to learn about the site’s history. The red-brick buildings here also make it a perfect spot for photography.

Located at the junction of Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, Foo Tak Building may look like an old, ordinary mixed-use tenement, but it is a hidden gem. Well-known cultural entities such as 100Most, Liber Research Community, Corrupt the Youth, and The House of Hong Kong Literature are all based here.

Units here are rented to 20 cultural and arts groups at a very low rent of a few thousand HKD each. The tenants include independent bookstores, handmade goods stores, music units, and art studios.

The architectural design of K11 Musea was crafted by 100 local and international designers, making the building itself a work of art. The Mills is a creative hub transformed from an old textile factory, an industrial building rich in history that witnessed the golden age of Hong Kong’s textile industry. After ceasing operations, the owner initiated a revitalization project, and it has now transformed into a base for creative entrepreneurs.
Visitors can explore art exhibitions, design studios, and craft markets, as well as participate in various workshops. Those interested in history can visit the textile factory’s exhibition hall. Public guided tours are available every weekend, and reservations can be made online.

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is the oldest institution of higher learning in Hong Kong. You can stroll around the campus, admire the historical buildings, and take photos, all while soaking in the rich cultural and academic atmosphere. The university also features a museum and art gallery.

牛棚藝術村由舊屠房改建而成,是一個匯聚藝術家的創作社區,為藝術家提供工作室,並經常舉辦各類型的藝術展覽及工作坊。

The Mills 是一個創意中心,原為一座舊紡織廠,這座充滿歷史的工業建築見證了香港紡織業的黃金時代。停止運作後,業主啟動了重建項目,現已轉型為創意企業家的基地。
